I've been trying to get IMAP to work over SSL with my P800 and have been having no success. I can see at the server that a connection is made to port 993, but the client just hangs and ultimately times out.
Anyone else get this working? Is it supposed to work? I checked the "Secure connection" box on the Advanced tab for the appropriate Messaging Account, although its placement makes me wonder if "Secure connection" is supposed to apply to the SMTP connection or the IMAP connection (I want it for both).
One issue that comes to mind is that I'm using a self-signed cert. Could this be the problem? Is there a process for importing root or CA certs? Should this matter?
Any thoughts/pointers would be welcome!
Thanks.

what IMAP server are you running?
is the server certificate accepted when you use another IMAP client on your PC?
other than invalid certificate problems I don't see why this wouldn't work if everything works fine on your PC.

Having the same problem as described above. IMAP via port 993 and a home-made certificate.
Did anyone above solve their problems or does anyone else have a clue?
