depends on when the phone was finished at the factory... and what firmware version that was used when your phones was manufactured...

The newest firmware isnt always the best firmware. You should wait to upgrade your firmware until you know the benefits of upgrading.

There is a new firmware for the T310 which comes with the calendar and some other features. Pre-defined stuffs still cannot be deleted. Not sure what's the version. But it really exists.
