> Difference between T-Mobile US sim cards, why?
Bookmark topic
So I decided to get a new contract with T-Mobile since I've had such a good experience with them. I also needed a new phone number so decided to get a brand new contract with a free phone included.
After switching SIM cards I noticed that the new SIM card has worse performance than my old one. My reception is not as good anymore. Anyone has an explanation to that??? I want my old SIM card back

Don't hold me to it, but I remember reading in another post about a guy who called tech support regarding a similar problem. If I remember correctly, the tech described a procedure to remove the sim and then replacing it near your home tower. Doing so tells the sim to use the nearby tower as the default.
I may be totally off base here, but that is what I remember. Can anyone else provide some clarification please?
Call T-mobile and maybe they can describe the procedure to you.
Sorry I can't be more specific.
