On the ericsson website, the flash player for the T68i has the SE logo animation appear when you turn the phone on, however when I turn mine on I get a static Orange logo, is there anyway to remove this completley or replace it with a SE animated version?

I've heard of this 13 second trick before, how do I do it?
Plus won't I lose all the pictures saved in the phone?
Cheers

You go to master reset in the settings menu on your phone and do a master reset bu disconnect the battery thirteen seconds after you press ok. Yes this deletes everything on your phones memory but it does work

did this on my t300 and it worked...removed t-mobile startup/shutdown logos and also doubled my free space by deleting preinstalled items.....if u do master reset as normal, all preinstalled items will be back

after doing the master reset a couple of weeks ago, it seems that all the memory used by the preinstalkled items has been used up (as if by magic) but the preinstalled items are not there, a bit of a mixed blessing i suppose!!

Yep,did this 13sec trick and the animated shutdown appeared so i set the user greeting to standard (startup ani) which now i only get the words 'welcome to orange' when switched on. Themes have gone but some tones and all wap settings and contacts DID NOT get deleted! :-D

Erm.. why not just use file manager and rename the C\\sysdata folder to C\\sysdata1 ... Does the same but you lose none of your settings! -Eva
