> should i buy the T68i now?

Hi!
Like to hear some comments from you all....
You see, my dear old faithful T39 is failing me... ocassionally i don't hear the other party while they can hear me... it has been 1.5 years, but i'm a little disappointed really... my previous phone was a T18 and that lasted more than 2 yrs, no problem.
Back to my question... i'm thinking of replacing the T39 with the T68i. OR should i wait for new models? Only trouble is, i don't quite fancy phones with cameras, and my workplace doesn't allow them anyway. T610 comes with a camera so that is out.
Can i hear some feedback from T68i users on this forum? let me know the pros and cons please.... what i use often on the T39 (besides normal phone functions) are WAP, Calendar, Voice dialing, Voice memo...
Thanks!

Well, basically t39 and t68i are much alike with functions. If liked your t39, and you dont need all the t610 fancy features, i'm sure you will be happy with t68i. In my opinion it best value for the money at the moment. Cons? Rather slow menus, battery doesnt last as long as in t39 (because of colour screen), and also opinions about poor reception - haven't noticed it myself. Rest are totally pros!

Thanks for your replies...
Anyone that has crossed over to SonyEricsson from Nokia? Most friends and colleagues around me are Nokia users actually... any aspects of Nokia that are no as desirable or good compared to SE generally?
Yes, i heard comments about poor reception on the T68i... i had no reception problems with the T39... any user who have used the 2 phones who can advise about their respective reception?
Thanks.

if I were u, i'd buy ericsson T300 or T310.they don't have camera, but u can buy MCA-25 to connect to the phone in the future if u decided to want a phone that can capture images.I liked the T68i, but its only monophonic. T300 and T310 are both colored screen, almost the same functions as T68i but polyphonic.follow the new trend.T300 and T310 have the same size as the nokia 5210.the only downfall is its design.its not fashionable enough but as long as its small and has features that i like, its ok 4 me.

get a t68i now. for me, it is still the best phone. size-wise.. feature-wise. if you want the t610, you'll gonna have to wait till Q4, knowing SE.

for me, being in the office too, i really dont need polyphonics. so if i were you i'd get the t68, i had an R600 which came short of what i needed, then i got a t39 which was a handful, it was really ahead of its time but something was lacking from it which the t68 sufficed - the colored screen. one word that clearly defined the t68 for me - contentment....
if only i could have an mca 25 or 20 just in case i would want an impromptu snapshot of something....

I would'nt bother with t300,no voice control, from what u said i think t68i (with latest sw upgrade) will be perfect 4 u. And u will still get ppl admiring it even now its been out over 18 months. And why get a nokia just cus everyone else got 1,ur already wiv tha best! :-D
