I have both and so far I cant get the headset to transmit the voice signal. I can hear my phone fine and the P800 recognizes the HDW-2 after pairing. Are they both Bluetooth V1.1?

Both devices are Bluetooth V1.1

But I have a question for you: Where did you get a hold of HDW-2?

Nokia have made their Bluetooth headsets compatible with their phones only. This message was posted from a T68i

You need to do two long button presses to get VR to activate on the P800 with HDW-2.

The first long button press connects HDW-2 to the P800, then hear a beep from headset, then do another long button press to invoke VR.

Update!!!!!!!! The location that I was trying to get the Nokia HDW-2 to work from had verry poor reception. I took a ride to the store last night and it works fine. Also I'm in Las Vegas and no problems. Apparently at my house (where cell recption is poor or not at all), it was just user error (mine). Hope this helps and YES IT IS COMPATABILE. I agree that is is the best looking headset. I am having the gold portion painted the same color blue as the phone. FYI the silver/grey on the headset is almost dead on to the silver/grey color of the phone. Cheers
