> Dial up with t68i alone

Using my t68i as a modem for my palm m505 I can connect to my regular dial up ISP and even to my dial up account at the office to get internet access.
But if i try to use the phone alone by itself to check mail or browse by making a call to the same dial up number it shows "verifiying" and it verifies ok and then it shows "Loading" and then "Communication Error. Try again or check setting" . I tried several cmbinations of ips in the WAP profile and in the data account with no luck.
Any idea? I dont want to use my ISP account but my office dial up. We don't have GPRS yet. Thanks!!!

U need data account right set for ur office dial-up. Pop3 shoud be supported by ur office system.

Find one of the many discussions here about CSD and substitute your ISP info for whatever carrier the discussion talks about. Some carriers offer internet access through thier own CSD, but using your own ISP will likely be more reliable, especially if you're using T-Mobile USA.
