Hi guys!
Does anyone know if it's possible to sync the phone book of the T310 with any application on the computer? I don't find any such software at SE site, and the "old" software from SE that I use with my T65 doesn't reconize the T310...
That SUCKS if they don't release a sync program! I've more than 200 phonenr on the phone and I don't want to move that info by hand!

One way is to sync with e.g. a T68 and then do a "send all"...

Well...I tried to sync only one item, and it worked sending from the T68i to the T310 trough IR. But...I don't think none of my friends wants to borrow their phone so I can errase all their contacts, put mine, and then send all from that phone...any way, a good idea but a last solution...

One more thing I "discover", was the T310 can ONLY have 3 different phone nrs (home, work, mobile) for every contact, but in serval of my contacts from my T65 I've use all 5 entries (home, work, mobile, fax, other)...I wonder what is going to happen when I try to sync a such contact.

There are a lot of "experts" out there with programming skills...they shoud fix a such application to sync the phones...
Any way...if someone finds any software to sync the T310...please dudes, just tell me... =)

@flat_eric45: nope...the software doesn't reconigze the T310.

@Merkur: Yes...I've heard those rumors. As I said before I'm going from a T65 to a T310...but I see a lot of things that are not better on the T310, and one of them is this about the sync. It'll be great if they at least fix that one. 'cause I'm starting to hate my T310 already after one week.

Forgive my ignorance, but why can't you just copy them to your SIM on your old phone and transfer it that way. That's how I was planning on copy my numbers from the T39m to the T310 when my unit arrives this week.

Well one reason NOT to do it this was is because most sims only support 16 characters and such, while if you send your whole phonebook to your pc you have a giant vcf that doesn't get truncated, not to mention it keeps email addresses, company names, titles if you added those to your contacts.

Techincally also when you copy your phonebook is copies each phonenumber entry as one. So you end up with

John Smith/W
John Smith/H
John Smith/M
etc...

Now what if you actually filled your phone with 250/510 contacts and more than half of those have at least two phone numbers, you couldn't even copy all the entries to your sim (or at least not on my sim which only supports 250).

That used to be the case with older models, but not the new ones. I just copied my address book from my SIM with no problems. I just sent my address book from my T39m to my new T310. Names are not truncated and all the numbers corresponding to each name transferred to the proper field.
