Hi guys.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to work these two applications? I've tried to use VNC, but either it doesnt work, or I'm doing something wrong. And with all due respect to myself, I'm pretty suspicious that it is indeed the latter.
I've put in the address, although I need to sort out that part, cos I don't have a static address, and the password; but what the hell are you supposed to put in the screen field?

I've also tried to use the alternative solution of the application called Remote, which is also really good because it has corresponding software for both PC and phone, but I don't know how or where on the pc application, to define a username!!!

Also, I was really exicited to get my hands on MiniGPS, but I don't really know how to utilise it properly.

Please help this poor, helpless young man? Could somebody possibly mail me instructions on how these programs can be manipulated to my advantage?? Pretty Please???

Thanks guys.

I used VNC straight away and connected successfully to two separate servers. Stick a zero (0) in the Screen field. Don't know what it's for but stick it in and it'll work fine.

It works well, albeit slower than I'm used to over GPRS but it's the sheer 'wow' factor of being able to control a PC from anywhere that impresses people. As a freeware program it is a must-have application.

Also, you may want to download VNC version 1.1, which allows you to save the details of servers you've connected to - saves typing the IP address in each time, although might be a bit dangerous if your phone gets stolen!
