12 planet is a cool application.

I'm not clear on how it is supposed to alert you when a message comes in, or when a chat room is filled.

The rooms can have people in there trying to talk with you, but you would never know it, as there are no alerts...

BTW, I tried looking for information on their website, but there's nothing there about the P800 IM client

Go here http://www.12planet.com/en/software/index.html then click the big button on the right that says 'IM Client for Symbian'

Make sure you install this one AND on the PC not the one on my-symbian or OTA as they both seem to do a part install.

You will also need a magnifying glass as there seems to be no way to enlarge the font it uses!

And also what is the difference between the trial and the commercial version ? Could that have to do with the alerts ?
With some more features like the Windows Messenger has i might be interested in even paying for a messenger for my beloved P800.

IM+ is due for P800 release this week - I'm not sure if they will be able to make it, but that was last info I've heard.

They don't mention an UIQ version anywhere on the website.

Does this prog. work on P800?

The full version has sound alert, I've just bought it, works like a charm!

One question about the commercial version.
Can it tell you the email address of the user on your contact list?
The people on mine have a habit of changing their nicknames regularly so I have no idea who i'm speaking too half the time. Would be nice to be able to reveal the email somehow.
