Just checked my settings...
POP server is pop.mail.yahoo.com
You probably have to use the SMTP server of the connection you're using e.g. to send mails from my P800 on Orange, I have to use smtp.orange.net for all outgoing mails from different accounts.
Hope this is of some help

check that you've got pop3 access enabled on your yahoo mail account, it's in email settings: "POP Access and Forwarding"
[edit] if you'd done this you'd have the settings to use

You might have to enable SMTP authentication, as I know Yahoo will only allow that to send mails sorryd.

Guys. You have to pay extra for pop3 access on yahoo otherwise it wont work. Some good free pop3 accounts that I use are hacker7.net and softhome net. Hacker7 is very good. They require a 48 hour time frame to process your app but it is worth it. You can get instant access with softhome though.
