After playing with it off and on for 4 days and finally getting to a level 3 engineer, it turns out that T-Mobile does NOT like '-' in the phone number.. which is utterly stupid.. outlook converts phone numbers to (xxx) xxx-xxxx in the US.. T-Mobile accepts the () but once you put a '-' in there, the MMS server rejects the message. Initially it looks like it sends..but it actually goes into a black hole. I turn on delivery receipt and it immediately comes back with a message stating it was rejected. So this is an FYI..but also..if you are using MMS with T-Mobile in the US, Contact them and tell them they need to fix their To Filtering in the MMS server to accept '-' in the phone number... I already made my complaint known..

OK I've got to ask why are you using the number formated as (xxx) xxx-xxxx to send mms anyway? That formating is simply for we humans.

If you want to get around this enter it in int'l format as +1XXXXXXXXXX and Outlook won't reformat it. Then it will send perfectly. Might as well get use to this format, eventually it'll be required.

I send that way because I just pick the contact from my address book and the mobile number/address from there. Don't feel like typing in someone's phone number if its in my contacts.

I would love it if outlook wouldn't reformat my numbers or at least reformat to +1xxxxxxxxxx but as soon as I enter that into outlook xp, it goes and reformats it to +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx . ARGGHH.... ANyone know of a way to disable it or force outlook to reformat #s to a format I could use?

If you're on Tmobile USA, then you need to sign up for tzones or tzones pro.. they charge per MB transferred.. Then go to www.sonyericsson.com and go to global support.. from there you can send autosetup SMS message to your phone

I'm with T-Mobile USA too and my MMS is now working just fine. I had my settings configured from the SE Global Support site. I can now send and receive MMS from other countries like Philippines, Poland, and UK. I don't need to use NOWMMS anymore!
