hi iv found this software.

it allows you to read the firmware on sonyericsson mobile phones and write new ones to it. (Service cable required)

The same site sells a service cable im not sure for how much tho, however it is available at this webpage.

does anyone know about this, i remember using similar software to flash my sony cmd-j5 this was a fairly simple process so it cant be too difficult with a t300 can it?

Check out the about box on this software, it doesn't support ANY SonyEricsson phones, such as the T68, T300, etc. It only supports old ericssons.

I have got R7A firmware for t68i....
but its a zip file with passworded...
im crack it down now by using azip...it take me 3 days now and its still reading/finding password...
when its successfully unzip, i will let every body know.

it's firmware unloaded from another phone. You take considerable risk by using this on your own phone. Known problems include battery and bluetooth issues.

www.cellphoneshop.net sells the cable cheap.

hmm, which software do I need for the t68i?? I have got a service cable which I've used for unlocking my ericsson t28 and that also fits in my Sony ericsson t68i.. Could it be of any use for reading my eeprom??
