Hi Folks,
I heard a lot about this version R1C...but I never heard if and what the new software fixes. Will the mobile work faster? Are any well known bugs fixed? Are there any new bugs?
I would really appreciate to know, if I should upgrade my software as for now my T68 is working slow but perfectly.

Some bloke at sonyericsson I spoke to on the phone said that there's no need to upgrade because it doesn't actually fix anything - it's just to iron out some issues with the phone companies. Hmmmm, dunno about that from what i've read here.

I know for a fact,..that R1C is better at something :
spoke to a guy,..who had problems with wap and gprs,..he then upgraded to R1C. After that it worked a lot better.
So some changes must have occured
(R1C seems to have some better "network-stuff/connections")
R1C also seems to be a bit faster too than R1B.

I have just upgrade in Italy to R1C and no is little bit faster and better,in Ericsson Italy when you call they tell "you must upgrade you T68...so...,only that know with the Spanish language on my mobile ( I live in Spain) I have a Bug that does not let me send sms longer than 70 words something really anoying,and if you put it as "long sms option) only thing it does is to send 2 or 3 sms and you have to pay for them, instead of a 160 normal you have to send 3 of them,very bad,very bad Ericsson , does anybody knows something about this?

You mean 70 characters and not words right?
I think the SMS is limited to
160 Latin alphabets/numbers in a single message or for non-Latin alphabets (Arabic and Chinese): 70 characters.

You go to an Ericsson service Point/center. They do the upgrade,..you cant do this yourself.
