I cannot seem to connect to the PC with my P800 properly. In the Phone Connection Link I see the USB port as connected. When I right click and change phone, My P800 is connected. But then the errors come:
- In the Phone Connection Link window the phone is on USB COM4. It keeps going from 'Connecting' to 'connected' to 'disconnection' to 'not connected'. Sometimes it stays on 'connected' though.
- When I select Backup and Restore I get the error "The .exe is invalid", and then "No phone is connected. Please connect a phone".
- I double click on the P800 icon on the desktop, and the Explorer window says Not Connected.
- I Syncronize, and then I get "Syncronization failed". If I try again, it says nothing, but just tries to synchronize for ever. The process hogs 99% of the CPU, and does not respond to anything except Ctrl-Alt-Del.

I've installed the software (v 1.3.1), set up the P800 to: Cable - 115200 - none - 1 - 8 - CTS/RTS, and the USB port is set to 115200.

I run WinXP Pro English version, and Am. English PC Suite, and the phone is in Norwegian. I have a Palm Vx installed, and I run Norton Antivirus 2003 (no firewall).

This is really annoying, especially since I've uset the Ericsson R380s until now, and the installation and sync was painless. Any help is appreciated greatly.
