Checked the carphone warehouse yesterday and spotted a T610 in their magazine. It says that it's due for a UK release in June.

I phoned my local servicepoint today - they are saying any time in the next three months, which is a big drop from "Within a month" which is what they told me last time.
I went into phones4u too today - they had never heard of it and denied all knowledge of it ever coming out. Reminds me why I don't like them

When i played stupid and asked " But is that not the old ericsson model, that has stopped being produced?" the wanker answered " Well actually they have stopped producing the t68i model and are just making this one (the lunar gray t68m)". Ofcourse he was just trying to get rid of the old stock before bringing in more t68i's. I regret not asking to speak with the manager about this ridiculous scam

Yeah...the thing that put me off was when I got my Nokia 7110 at the time of the first Matrix film.
The guy in the shop was playing with one looking all smug, sat on his desk in a suit trying to look cool. He didn't let me look at it, refused to give me a sales pitch because he "assumed I wouldn't have the money" and remarked on how the one in the film wasn't actually a 7110.
I kid you not, they are staffed by asswipes in Manchester :-/

The phone used in the Matrix film wasn't the 7110.
I just got a T300 to replace my aging 7110. Still learning to use the T300, but I'm missing some of the 7110's features...
