Hi there!
Today my p800 said : Memory full - I couldn't start even filemanager to delete any files...
The next thing was : Formatting memory...
I had to sit down - I cried: WHAT THE F...?!??!?
Next thing I remember was : Please enter PIN...
My last backup was 6days ago...
I've lost almost 300sms, 32mms, 640contacts, Pictures from saturday party and some important emails...
Geeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz....
I'm totaly DISSAPOINTED with that - I got depressed...
It WAS a perfect phone for me till today...
Now I don't know what to do - I restored the backup files but my phone is never going to be like it was 4 me...
He lost my trust...
I'm going to drink a lot of beer today because of that...
Hope You never had this with Your p800...
Best Regards!
Peter

That sounds very scary...
Should I make daily backups then?
Does this happen with a specific firmware version or just generally with all of them?

I never got any loss or problems in spite that I sometimes get that memory warning but I simply turn my P800 off and on again et voila everything works fine.

@Mimzo - I don't know but my FW version is pretty old - I have to upgrade it but nearest Service Point is 250km away from me...
I'll have to go to it - I'm planning to do DAILY backup of ALL data though...
Thanx for Your words Guys!
Have a nice evening.

Howcome you don't syncronize your phone with Outlook??
- And why don't you leave the mails on the server, when downloading them to your phone.. That way you'll still get them in your mail-software for your PC!
I do that all the time.. That way nothing happenes if the telephone crashes..
