> Lost Orange bootup branding video
Bookmark topic
Initially my P800 (connected to Orange) would boot up with an Orange sunset movie, and shut down with something similar in reverse, but I noticed a few days ago it seems to have reverted back to what I assume is the standard Ericsson one.
Anyone come across this? Did I perhaps change something by accident without noticing?

Have you downloaded filemanager?
if so the startup/shutdown mp4s are located in c: sysdata

To be honest that's not a bad thing to loose anyway!
(No offence Orange, Love your service but don't like being stuck with the needless branding)

I'm not craving for my 'Orange' sunset, but I would like to know how it could just disappear...
I downloaded File Manager, looked in c:\sysdata and the folder is empty.. I checked all the other folders and could not find any other mp4 graphics.

Similar thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I turned my P800 off at the airport, put it through the x-ray scanner at security, and when I turned it on again immediately after the Vodafone (UK) startup video had been replaced by the Sony Ericsson one. I can only think the scanner messed the memory up somehow, which is a bit worrying. Nothing else seems to be missing or wrong though.

Well that is good anyway, coz the Original orange one was so crap

Do we get to choose different intros ? I lost mine for some reason a few days ago as well

I like it, esp the audio, reminds me of going on holiday.
I have however taken the Orange logo off my P800, it looks better without that, IMHO
