> How much Mem do you keep free?
Bookmark topic
I have been playing around for a while and I have come to the conclusion that on my T68i, I get the best performance if I keep about 500KB free.
It is a bit of a pain, as that means I cant keep much in the way of theme ringtone pics on it at any time, but it is much quicker.
I am yet to totally clear out all the pics (including the default pics) and I am sure that when I finish that I will have around 670KB free.
Does everyone else keep their phone this empty?

Sure did, all screwed up, that's mainly why I cleared it out.
Warning, dont let mates borrow your phone.

)
6 ringing tones
its fast...anyway im not particular with those things that are not really needed
i even played the games so as there are no games left unfinished...regarding the "resume game" option

Only got 2 pics (i still have to reduce their size) 1 extra theme and maybe 10 or so ringtones.
Much quicker.

Free memory usually plays at around 50- 200 kb. Am quite active in sending and receiving MMS and use my MCA25 quite often so i really have to keep a close tab on the memory. Dumping and retrieving pics from my Tungsten or pc as needed. At 0-50 kb left i just note some lag but this has been minimized by r7a upgrade. Keeping the phone as spartan as you do isn't for me since the reason i bought the phone was to enjoy its myriad of features. ;-)

Dont get me wrong, I will be using all the features, such as still changing themes ringtons and such regularly, I also use the MCS 20, it just means that I will not be leaving on the phone once transfered from the cam, I will move them straight to PC.
Just regular spring cleaning I guess.
As for MMS I am yet to enjoy it fully as few of my friends have it yet, I am sure as more people I know get it, that it will be taking up more room.
