i found out how to make polyphonic ringtones much louder. It worked for t300.
You just have to search google for psmplay. with this program it is possible to make your midi files up to 500% louder, then just download them with cable or IrDA

You can't exactly make all MIDI tunes 500% louder. MIDI volume is a number between 1 and 127, with most tracks set around 100 to avoid blowing up speakers and to allow for dynamic range. Setting all tracks to 127 will only make them slightly louder.

If you're willing to experiment, the real way to make MIDI ringtones louder is to replace the instruments with ones that sound louder. e.g. choir, piano, horn, etc.

Samsungs have louder polyphonic ringtones because it has a different speaker that's not covered up even if the phone is inside a protective case. And most made-for-Samsung ringtones are designed with loud sounding instruments. Nokia's MIDI rendering engine is so poor that ringtones have to be specifically made for Nokia to sound good. The T300's MIDI is so superior that you can download any MIDI file, with the result that many MIDI files will have a low volume, because they're simply not designed to be used as ringtones.
