Hi

A few weeks ago, several dead pixels showed up on my screen in a big clump. I have never dropped it or anything, they just suddenly turned up. I took my phone in to get repaired. and after a lot of waiting, i got it back today. They said the update the software to R6A012 and replaced the screen. My old firmware was the first t68i software i think. as i purchased my t68m just after the t68i came out, and a sticker on the box said it came with the t68i software.

Now, when i turn it on, the SE logo stays on the screen for quite a long time before it goes to the normal screen.
I hope this is only a temp problem.
Or is it a problem with r6a012?

I can't notice anything different between my old firmware and this. though i am told that this one supports the new communicam.
I didn't loose my pics, ringtones, joystick counter or anything.
I think thats a bit weird. don't you allways lose those things?
Mainly the joystick counter.
Is that right?
Does that mean that they didn't even upgrade the firmware at all?

I didn't loose pics and all other stuff on my phone after upgrade also. Service can reset joystick counter, but it doesn't happen because of upgrade.

@puffinfresh: it's good to master reset after upgrade, try it, maybe it'll help.

@miss uk: Did u know that you can make upgrade yourself everytime new SW is out without loosing warranty? There's official siemens software on my-siemens.com. U just pick language, download the soft, plug the phone and hit start.
