Hi

Does anyone know if the new software upgrade makes the phone switch on when the alarm sounds, if the phone is currently powered down?

this used to happen on the t68 but its a feature i'd like to see on the p800

cheers

Nope. Put it in flight mode if you don't want to be disturbed.

I think you might have missed the point here.

Everyone knows that the alarm doesnt work when the phones off, everyone knows how to get around this.

However - this is one of the biggest (so still not massive really) faults with the phone from a practicality point of view, and most of these sort of issues have been fixed with the new firmware.

So Lambert - do you know for a fact that the alarms don't work in Phone firmware R1D ?
