Does anyone know any way to control the playing of MP3's with the flip closed?
I can't set up a short cut with the flip closed or change volume, stop or pause the music etc. It is a bit of a pain to get it out of your pocket and open the flip each time.

Because of the hardware design, I do not think there is any way, hardware or software, except the volume control, which is possible with suitable external headphone/headset.

the new firmware that is out now (the people on here have said it is out now anway...) it adds to the MP3 options by being able to use it in flip closed mode and to use the camara in flip closed mode, when i was at cebit they had the new upgrade BUT i didnt want to update because it was a massive upgrade which they said would get rid of all the stuff on my P800 and only the DUO would remain intact and so i didnt bother haveing it done
(i wish i had now since i would of been ONE of the first people with the upgrade)

You can also use the MP3 in flip closed mode, although you don't have any functionality.
Open the player and click on the note icon bottom left - you can now play the clip and close the flip...

So in the UK how would I go about getting a firmware upgrade? Could I just go along to a carphone warehouse or something? Is it free to do and could i restore a back up on my memory card and phone on the new firmware?
Thanks
