I have had miserable signal strength, with T-Mobile popping out of range even as I sit still. What has everyone else in the area found? What about other GSM providers.

Cheers.

Yea, Im over here in the westcoast and it also pops in and out, only noticed twice while i was sitting in my clients house, but his house also seems to block out other phones also...

Noticed BAD recpetion areas:

1.Airport- sometimes ill have fullsignal but it still wont send call. Airport is the worst place i have been encountering

2.Hospital- Just need to take a few steps to grab full strength, then it seems to remain strong entire call.

3.Altamonts- I was expecting the phone to work in and out of altamonts, AT&T's do, I was figuring TMobiles would also.

Other than that I hold strong signals.

Well, being a T-Mobile subscriber for two years in NYC, I've noticed people get a lot of 'subscriber out of area' errors when trying to call me. I have no idea how many calls I might have missed. That's GSM in the States for you. Cingular piggy-backs on T-Mobiles lines in the city.

It's either that or get a CDMA phone for Verizon or Sprint. No thanks.
