well its a sad day when a developer must give up on a project that has taken months of work, i am not going to totally abonded the project but due to Sony Ericissons total lack of help on the matter its made me think twice about them.
Basically i was creating a suite of photoshop plugins designed for mobile imaging.
I wanted the plugins to be able to sync directly with the P800 itself (and hopefully some other phones like the t68i) but sony have released NO INFORMATION regarding how we can connect and sync data between the phone...
It kind of makes all my work on the image processing work pointless...
I have tried emailing them but because the connectivity suite was outsourced they wont give any information. Shame really and really a warning to potential P800 buyers...By the looks of it the only sync will be between Outlook and Lotus and NOTHING else...
all that talk of an open phone...
laters...

Neural, what exactly was your app supposed to do? Just a thought, why not contact Symbian, or even better... go to UIQ.com and work with them directly? You have to also remember that

only makes the hardware on the P800... software is handled by Symbian, speciafically, the UIQ division.
I hope to see you app available soon! I'm a graphic designer and would love to see some image editing apps on the P800... even something like a very basic Photoshop, something that I can carry & view my PSD files on.
