Hello people from across the globe
I have been carrying my t68i for 5 monthes nopw in a small bodyglove case. it really protects it a lot . last week i decided to stop using the case because the t68i is such a pretty phone.. and one day i dropped it accidently on my kitechn floor. it hit the floor pretty hard. no problems but topday i saw that the little blue cap of the joystic is kinda cracked. It still feels ok there is no problem with it but i was just wondering if it s going to brake in the future or not. how should i fix it? my thought was to apply a very tiny amount of glue with a pin on the crack but iom not so sure if i shpould do that or not.
where can i find a replacement blue cap? ebay has 0 and there is no sonny ericsson servicer center in Washington DC.

any ideas?
thanks

get a dummy phone and 'steal' the joystick out of that-- you should be able to get a T6 screwdriver for the phone from somewhere close to u

? i thought the joystick was almost unremoveable? i would find a service point mate, even if you've got to go to an other city.
i think your the first whit this kind of problem.

Open the botton 2 black screws screws on the fone, the ones next 2 the contacts. be careful with these screws cos there is a spacer under the screw and can be lost easily.

use a pin or very small flat precision screwdriver 2 disloge the 2 clips on the top plastic cap.(the plastic cover that covers the built in antena) be very careful with the clips cos they can break easity. what u should do is wedge the screwdriver between the clip and the fone, then when the clip is slightly streached, pull up and the clip should be free. do this on both sides.

once the plastic cap is off open the 2 silver screws that r on the top. once u have opened the 4 screws, there is a clip on either side of the fone in the middle of the line that seperates the fone and the face. run your finger nail along the line on the side of the fone and the clips will open easily. dont force the face off or u will break these clips.

once these clips r open, the face is off.

dont worry 2 much, its not easy 2 break anything as long as u take your time and r gentle. and make sure u have the right torx screwdriver and dont use anything else! or this will damage the screw head.

my joystick counter is around 160,000 luckly its still working. Does the joystick counter has its limitations ? Until what number ? I think SE wont make a cellphone that is good for 1 year. I will go back to NOKIA if that rumor is true:-( This message was posted from a T68i

once it reaches 999,999 it goes to 1 000 000 so from what ive seen on this site, its not likely 2 ever stop working becouse of the joystick counter.
