I'm finally moving to England, and currently own an unlocked and upgraded T68mc (with the gold faceplate). It's got a bit of wear and tear on it though, so I'm looking to find out about some good phone deals, and which UK provider to go with. From what I've seen and read, I'm leaning towards Orange, as I believe they're still offering free 0800 dialing from mobiles, have good service, GPRS coverage, and I can even receive textos for free through the 'net using ICQ and some other messengers.
What's the best place to order service through, are there any promotions going on right now for a free, or cheap, T68, P800 or similar, and are there any other providers out there that meet these qualifications that I should be considering?
Thank you much!

yeah orange are alright though it depends on what you are looking for if you want pay-as-you-go or a contract. Contracts are probably best on Vodafone (they tend to do best deals) but for PAYG i would probably go with orange as they have all the things you listed before. By the Way, all networks allow you to recieve free texts
its just sending which costs

Personally i think the best tariff around is the o2 online leisure plus.
For 20 pounds per month you get 500 off-peak minutes to o2 & landline numbers, 500 WAP minutes, 500 txts, and 50 off-peak X-network minutes.
You can also have the benefit of bolt-ons which take the prices of SMS down to 4p each and MMS down to only 16p each (i think thats the cheapest media message price around at the moment)
If you need a peak time tariff they are great also with your 500 txt and WAP and bolt ons.
