hi all...
just got my P800 yesterday, (R1D firmware) and have been having problems with the touch screen stopping working every now and then, sometimes will work after a bit, other times, the phone has to be turned off... or even the sim removed and repeatedly turned on and off...!!
anyone else had this problem ??
gonna get the firmware updated to R2A next week at GMS in scunthorpe (01724 858585) when they get the new version in stock...
anyone got any advice ??
also where can i find phonebook manager software for my PC ??

1)It sound like you need to exchaneg your unit.
2)After update do not put back info from backup.
3)Use outlook to menage your phone book. there is no other soft avelable. Also you would have to instal pc suite from cd. Better use newer version from SE website.

don`t think an exchange is likely as i have waited a month to get this one, and there is no-more stock once again...
where on the website is the pc suite download ?? is it worth installing that one over the one i have installed ?? (any improvements ?)

So what do you expect. reply like "click on left corner and your phone is fixed" ??????
We just told you it sound like you got defective unit. Better change it until it did not get f**kedup. You might have lost contakts and shit like that.

1.4.2 is the new one. Some problems was fixed in this version. And many bugs gone.

The best screan protection for p800. Stick it to screan. Will surly save from scraches, actualy easyer to write on it, no sun flaxing on screan.

It's a sunlight protection cream, so your phone won't ge burned.

no, what i expected was an answer such as is it a hardware or software fault ??
if there is no-stock, it can`t be changed yet can it ?? so if it just needs a firmware update, then that is easier than having to wait for an exchange !!
