i sent it 2 days ago to SE USA to get it fixed. and i left a note saying that i dont want network specific Software. and called in today to make sure they dont do that. but the lady didnt understand what i said, and i think it will be lockd to T-mobile USA

F**K YOU SE YOU HAVE REALLY PISSED ME OFF NOW. FIRST THE P800 AND NOW YOUR SH!T CUSTOMER SERVICE.

im hoping they dont lock it or add network specific software to it. anyways is there a way to know if my P800 is locked? (other than putting another SIM inside) or if network specific software was added?

Service Points won't lock phones, why on earth would they want to?

And as for "First the P800, now bad customer service" - what is that supposed to mean?

You haven't received the phone, it won't / can't come back with network specific software (as this is nothing to do with SE) and your post is therefore just a pointless rant.

my P800 crahed completely twice!!!!!!!! thats what i meant. and the lady was like "so you want T-mobile software and locked?" i was "NO, i want it SIM free the way i got it". but she didnt seem to understand.

ive bought the P800 since december, which is about 5 months ago. and i only had the P800 working for 2 of those 5 months

i hope you now know why im pissed.

I'm sorry for you about your phone only working 2 out of 5 months. If I was you I would have asked for a new phone OR just buy another phone if you think it's such a piece of crap. For me personally I have had the phone for a month or 2, and it has worked perfectly all the time...

i should get the phone by wednesday. i called tech support again and talked with someone who knows what locking a phone means and assured me that if my phone was SIM free they will give it to me SIM free. i will know in a couple of days. but the thing is i called the service center and they dont even know what version they have? dont you find it strange that the place where you upgrade your phone doesnt know what theyre putting in your phone? the customer care for tech support dont even know how the team looks like. all they know is what they see on the computer.

i asked that and they said they have no way of communicating with the tech team?!?!?!?! WTF, thats so stupid. they told me to call the 1-800 number (which is customer care, not service center) but i want to talk to the guy fixing my phone not some guy who is not.actually customer care knew what their newest version was R1D, but still i want to talk to the team directly, just to be sure.
