Hi!!

I have many Java applets installed on my P800. A strange problem occured. When I started a Java Applet (any Java applet like EmailViewver, WebViewer, Yahoo! Messenger, MobileIM) it started (starting MIDlet dialog appeared on the P800 screen when it starting) and work OK.

When I finished using that Java applet, I closed the applet. The closing or exit process work OK. But when I start that applet again for the second time, it won't start properly. There are two dialogs appeared on the screen when the applet start. One read "Could not start MIDlet" and another one underneath the fisrt one reead ""Applicat..." I can't read the remaining dialog since it has been overlayed by the first dialog box.

The only way I can restart that JAVA applet again is by shut off and power on the P800 again. This problem occured with all JAVA applet, and very repeatable.

It's annoying. Can any friend here experienced advise on this problem ? As per the vendor of EmailViewer, they said the problem is with the P800 since all memory and state of the OS do not reset itself to the original state properly.

Help please

make sure that application is shut down properly, this is not done automaticly on leaving them on p800 and they continue to run in background. use file manager program to close all unused applications.

I too face exactly the same problem when using Java midlets. No, I tried using Handy Day to kill those apps but still they continue not to start properly after the kill. Does anyone have any solutions?

Same problem, even with latest (R2D) firmware.
