I have noticed that the speakerphone quality seems to degrade the more programs you have open at once.

Maybe its something to do with the memory allocation of the handset, but it definately cuts out more when you have been using a lot of the functions of the phone.

it's too soft for me. the surrounding needs to be totally quiet for me to hear and understand the other line properly.
sometimes, even the bluetooth headset i use is too soft even at max volume. the best for noisy environment is the headphones. hehe. but it doesnt offer the same freedom that the BT headset and speakerphone offer.

People I call using the speaker sound always hear funny noises, should be an upgrade on this.

Yes the only thing on this phone that really gives me a headache is the speakerphone.it's totally useless when the other person always complains about a bad echo. The speakerphone should work,as it does on other brands(works quite well on nokia). It's a nice function but totally useless on the p800...(atleast mine).

I found that it isn't brilliant but if you lower the volume sometimes the
person on the other end says the quality for them improves (echo is reduced).
