Well, I waited for 6 months for this beauty and received it about a month ago. I am thrilled with the whole package.. What a fantastic phone and well worth the money. P800 was everyting a thought it would be. BUT
Where are the apps/games software ??? I log onto my-symbian etc every day to find that there are 10 x more software being written for symbian 60 devices. I can only spot about 30 - 40 apps for the p800 and quite frankly there are only maybe 5 of being worthy of being called software. The rest is simply trash. Now I remember when Nokia announced the 3650. The p800 was already past testing and the dev kit was released for p800. WHY ARE THEY NOT WRITTING GOOD APPS FOR MY BABY !!!!

Like I said.. There are a few good apps. Handyday I think is brilliant. Worldmate is great ! The games that come with the p800 are also great. GoBOY is wonderfull too. But most of the rest I think have little or no use. Like the fuel manager and dynip, floor calc. I think the programers must put more features into apps like these... Just my opinion.

My main point is that the rate and quality of apps for the 3650 far exceeds the development for the p800 and that PI$$E$ me off !

Hopefully it improves.

Ehrm, the N7650 has already been out for over a year, and the N3650 uses the same OS and UI, that's the simple reason why there's so much more apps available for the Series 60.

You might also have noticed the speed apps are being developed for the P800 right now is far higher than the Series 60 development. Which proves that the P800 is a very popular device for developers.

All great things will come to those who are patient.
I'm actually very impressed of the amount of 3'rd party software available for the P800 considering that it's only been available worldwide for a couple of months. I don't understand what people really expect. This is a brand new platform. Have you ever tried writing software yourselves?

I agree with every word said, it is only a matter of time until the great applications start flowing.
All i want at the moment is 2 vital applicationes
1)

Processor speed tweeking (so you can make the p800 run on 200MHz ) ; frankly i think it is stuped not to include that, because look at videos they certainly need more power

Video recording (so that it really kicks the 3650's ass)
