hey,
I am fairly new at posting. Read the forums all the time. I have a question for all you experts here. I am using the Fido network in Canada and my phone has ip addresses ranging from 205.151.XXX.XXX. My companies web server is using e-smith v5 and it allows me to read and sync with the imap server without any problem when the above address is added as a local host to the e-smith, but I cannot send mail. It gives me an error "SMTP refused connection". I then asked our tech to go through the log files and he told me that it refused the connection because "No reverse mapping" available??
Does anyone here know how to get around this problem or anyother solutions for using other SMTP outgoing servers?? Unfortunately the tech at work is lost on this aswell.
Any help would be appreciated.
