can some1 post optimized settings? does frame rate matter? and wots interoperability? wot setting should this b on? thanks

The settings that I use;

Total Bitrate 200Kbit/sec
Audio Bitrate 48 KBit/sec

Down Sampling- depends on resolution of file.. I normally select x2

Sample Rate 22050 Hz

Keyframe Period 75 frames

U can get more detailed settings from searcing on esato.

If you use the encoder from Packet Video, they have customized settings for the P800 as well as a seperate download. Just copy them to the directory you install the program in and viola!

pvauthor has very bad sound...so mpegable is better in that way. also can the p800 use 96k/bits/s audio in stereo 44.1khz? im just asking cos i havent got my p800 yet and i want to enocde my vids 1st...thanks

@homer, i found that when using mpegable, the higher the audio, the less crisp the picture. how bout u?
