Ok. So a lot of people blabbed here about the P800 being upgradeable via an internet download but, till now... ZIP. Nada. Niente. SonyEricsson should make a better effort in keeping up with their promisses. Users of the Siemens S55 can already download a firmware upgrade through Siemens's website, but still nothing for us, loyal and faithfull SE consumers. This Sucks!!!! Does anybody know if the firmware will be available online anytime soon?
BTW, the language packs are available since yesterday at SE site.

yeah gotta agree id have thought with the symbian os it wouldnt be a problem although i dont pretend to know the technical side of it but it seems stupid so many SE customers have to travel to an service centre which for me means an hours driving each way plus the time for upgrade and surely downloading from one site would mean less cost/admin for SE

I think it should be a 'home' upgrade path for SE too. Even my iPaq was upgraded by myself to PocketPC 2002.

Um.. no I don't think we should envy them, cause (in my opinion) siemens suck...
+ SE always takes a while to 'complete' or 'warm up' to new technologies or products. That has been slowly changing over the course of the year, but I think when the full-fledged P800 update comes we should see this feature being pushed much more...
Also you have to think... the 'Mobile Internet' (now renamed to SE 'fun') was completely redone recently, with support for thep P800... Any idea why, probably 1 step easier for them to implement this feature.
Anyone got any info to whether the t610 can be software upgraded ?
