Ok is it possible to zoom with the P800 camera or is ther a software or accessories I need to get?

Why do you want to zoom?
It will only be a digital zoom. Which sucks... Especially since the camera is 640x480 res... You can use photoshop to "zoom" later...

Digital Zoom -> Achieved using software/(digital)Hardware.
Optical Zoom -> Achieved with the lens.

If you have a big picture with someones face in the middle, if you then cut a square around the persins face and saving it as a new image; it would be called digital zoom
it will not make the quality of that section of the picture any better, it is only ignoring the rest
