I have tried to access the fone book on the P800, I keep getting the message "Not enough memory" I have tried a soft reset and I have over 5 meg free on internal memory and 6 meg free on the duo. Anyone else had this problem? anyone know how I can fix this fault? All help welcome.

I just noticed the fault about an hour ago! got loads of free memory on fone and duo. Was going to try a master reset, not sure if that will help tho. Tried to call sony, they are closed till tue 22/04. Got any ideas? If I do a master reset, what will be deleted?

Master reset takes it back to factory settings, i.e you lose everything you've added, info and apps.

Have you done a proper soft reset (take out the battery without turning off the phone). If that doesn't work, try deleting the last app you added (might be corrupt).

If you do a master reset, backup everything first, but make sure it's the updated version of the PC Suite (not the one on the CD) or the backup won't restore.

Hope that helps

Download from www.sonyericsson.com/uk

I think it's version 1.3.1.

A master reset did fix the fault! only thing is, I never backed up my fone. The moral of the story, always make a back up!
