I have just resently (6 days ago) purchased a Fido account and T68i. The reasons I chose Fido and the T68i was so that I could use the phone to send and retrieve email and use the phone as a wireless modem to connect to my iPaq 5450 and my notebook.
As of yet I have not been able to accomplish any of these tasks. When I go to 'send and retrieve' mail I am able to connect but then the screen says 'finding server' then after about a minute the messege I get is 'server not found'.
Like wise, when I try to surf the net from my iPaq 5450 through the bluetooth dialup modem of the T68i I get connected but when I try to retrieve a web page I get the messege ' The page you are looking for cannot be found'.
Are there any other users of Fido with similar hardware experiencing this?
I have called Fido twice about my probelems hoping I could get a Tech to walk me through my setting just to make sure everthing is set correctly. But I never get to speak with a Tech directly and what I am told is that Fido is having technical difficulties with there GPRS service.
I have reached the point where I am going to exercise the 15 day Dis-satisfaction guarantee if I can not resolve these issues.
Any feed back would be appreciated.
