Yep, its me again.

I have been currently converting movies and tv programs into mp4, using Mpegable Broadcaster.

I have been using the following settings:-

Total Bitrate: 200 kbit/sec
Audio Bitrate: 48 kbits/sec

Once converted, they play fine on my pc, however once transfered to my p800 they will not play. I click to play the movie and it says "unable to play clip".

Have I got the settings right, or is there another program I could use that has the same sound quality?

Thanks for your help in advance

Daz

i got some ideas about that, but,if u still cannt play the movies u have converted,i am afraid u need to provide more details.
the important rule u must notice is that the solution MUST under 194*144!
hope this will be helpful for u.

Use packet video to convert vids. It is available from the pv website as a 60 day trial. Just put all the settings to max i.e video and sound. Do a search on this site for the url. This message was posted from a P800

I use the demo of pv author. If you search the site carefully, they have downloadable profiles for encoding video specifically for your P800. I've used it to convert music files for my fone successfully... no problems!

Hope this helps.

Also, make sure that you are setting your frame rate to 15 frames per second as that is the frame rate of the phone.

I use sorenson squeeze for MPEG-4, a perfect MPEG-4 compression software with the very good sorenson MPEG-4 pro codec.
About the size: The size of my videos is width: 204 / height: not so important because the width is the problem and most software will crop the height. I put 300 in but, of course, the videos are about 144 at least....
