Hello everybody,

I'm new here, so don't lynch me if I post something wrong
I got a few questions about SonyEricsson's T300, wich I own.

First of all, where in the "§$% does the T300 store ringtones wich I have sent with IR - I can't find them in the phone. (Or did I get something wrong when I sent the midi file directly, unchangend to the phone?)
Second question, is it possible to remove the Simlock via IR or do I need a Datacable?

thanx in advance,

Codman

it saves the ringtones in My Sounds if you send them by IR, well it did with mine anyway, remember after you have sent it the phone will lock up for 30 seconds while saving, its important that you leave it during that time
No you cant remove simlock by IR as far as i know, only by datacable and unlock code, however you need certain software to d it by datacable.

Hm, I will try it once again, but I think this midi file is way to big to save it. Has someone a short version of the Canadian Anthem as midi file?

Dumb question but where do I get that certain code - surely not from my network provider I guess?

Thanx anyway ..

@ codman you might try asking your carrier. T-Mobile usa provides the code if you email a request to them. Your carrier may as well. Search forum for how T-Mobile does it. This message was posted from a T300

gzumba, I doubt it that my provider will give me the number, here in Austria they charge you 35 € to unlock the phone .. yes, this sucks. But I will write them anyway, maybe I'll have luck ..

I'm on T-Mobile , i barely used the T300 for a month when i went out of USA and I told em tht it doesnt work properly outside and so i need to put a local sim card, and requested for the unlock code, which i got within 2 days. Now im free to use my T300 anywhere ... You can try sayin this, maybe they are kind/polite and they might just giv u tha code.
