Don't know if anyone else has experienced a problem that I got when I had my P800 software upgraded. I had it upgraded from R1D to R2D last Thursday.

Since then the jog dial does not respond to up/down movemements. It works back/forward/in.

SE Customer Support said it is a first, never heard of this problem before. I've taken it back to R's in Tottenham to be reflashed. SE said it might work.

R's said they would reflash it. They are only doing one at a time, Waiting time 4 hours with only one other phone waiting.

I'll pick it back up later today, hopefully.

Latest on my problem with P800 jog dial fault. Not responce from up/down movement. Back/Forward/In work ok.
Not able to raise ringtone volume as it needs dial.

Took phone to R's in Tottenham to be reflashed. They done it only to find out jog dial fault was still there. They had a spare jog dial part in stock so they changed it. It still did not cure fault.

As phone was bought in January, it was an import.
R's said it might have to be sent back to country of origin and if they had the parts etc might be back in 3-4 weeks.

Phone company where I bought it from, mPhone Ltd. They said it should have a worldwide warranty. They could not get through by phone to R's today. They will phone me tomorrow.

I hope either to get it repaired in this country or get a replacement.

Waiting for call tomorrow morning from mPhone.

Had to take my P800 back to mPhone Ltd where I bought it to be sent on for repair.

Hopefully it won't take long.
Tried doing a master reset too, jog-dial still not working up/down.
