Has anyone made a really snug fitting screen protector yet?
I am finding hard to make one that fits really well, I think I might be a little slow
Would anyone be kind enough to share a decent template with me so that I can get it looking good?

i have sent you a template, only problem is that it is autocad 2000 file when you unzip it. you may need software to look at it. i have a copy of a template, only problem is that it is autocad 2000 file when you unzip it. you may need software to look at it. i have a copy of a template, only problem is that it is autocad 2000 file when you unzip it. you may need software to look at it.

What are u guys using as the protector? Is there a place where u can just but like a sheet of PDA Protector Plastic or something? or are u using PDA Screen protectors from other PDA and just cutting into them? I have a Brando, but when i was cleaning the screen one day it got bent a little bit and now theres a tiny bubble on the screen that wont go away. The only PDA protectors i can find are at places like Best Buy and are WriteRight protectors, which i have not heard too many good things about...

if you guys wanna avoid the hassle of making measurements and cut-outs from non-sturdy screen protectors, i suggest getting the Brando Screen Protector for P800...its already pre-cut and washable, but it costs a tad more...but its definitely worth every cent

just a suggestion, instead of using a template, why not xerox or photocopy your phone. then cut off the screen and trace it over your protector. used to do this with all my previous phones. the brando is cool but its not really washable. i took it off, washed it and when i put it back it bubbles galore. i prefer the cheap pda protectors by ridata, $4 for 10 pcs. here. some people i know here use frisket film available in bookstores.

We charge $12 shipped. They are in fact washable if you carefully take them off your screen. Be patient and take a straight edge to lift up a corner being careful not to bend it back too much. If you bend it back too much, you risk putting a crease in the plastic.
I have washed mine with warm water and shook it to dry it. Then took a microfiber cloth normally used to clean sunglasses with, and removed all excess spots on the protector. You may still find some loose pieces of lint on the protector and you may take a piece of scotch tape to gently lift any debris from the sticky side of the protector. Most air bubbles are caused by small dust/debris on the protector or the screen.
The Brando protector is quite durable and provides a clear view of your screen, especially under the sun. It will however, give it a slightly washed out "milky" look. A screen without any protector is the clearest and sharpest in my opinion. I do not think the P800's screen can take all the abuse from writing on the screen, not to mention the mechanical keypad pins always hitting the same spot on the screen.
Lastly, this protector has been cut to cover the entire screen without leaving any visible gaps at the edges if installed properly. This can make it slightly more difficult to install.
