I am wondering what these public wap portal thingys are? are they access to free wap?
I live in Australia, are there any that would work here? i have Optus and Telstra Prepaid accounts, using either SIM is fine.
If someone could give me a step by step guide on how to set up this, i dont know anything about wap configuring. so a guide detailing which menu options to select would be a great help.
do i have to connect through GPRS, because my telstra SIM prepaid doesnt support it.
Thanks in advance.

PS i did search, i have bits of information, but having it all in this thread would help.
