yeah shut up 701, the other threads haven't mentioned the error "parameters not enabled".

@crazyme: you will need to get GPRS enabled on your boyfriends contract in order to use GPRS. Depending on which service provider/contract he is on will determine whether he can use GPRS for email or not. Hw will definitely be able to use GPRS for WAP browsing though.

Phil.

Nearly all providers have two types of GPRS, GPRS WAP and GPRS data.
It sounds like your boyfriend has a GPRS WAP, this will not allow him to send/recieve email.
Which network is he on?
I haver GPRS WAP on my phone which works great but becuase I am on O2 I have to use GSM to send and receive my email.

Phil.

i'm guessing that your bf is on vodafone payt, coz ive had the same problem ever since i got my phone bout 5 months ago, and i still havnt sorted it out. If you ask the manager in a vodafone shop, then they should be able to help u, but they only really know bout nokias! Also, has he set up an email account on the vodafone mail website? it converts your voicemail into an email and voicemail box, so if u get an email, it reads it to you, but i still dont know how to access email from the messages menu.

ozilla, you can always use a GSM data account to access email. I think O2 also did one of those "read your email" things but it sucked ass. Much easier just downloading your emails to your phone.
