> trouble backing up fone

For the past 2 days, I've been unable to back up my fone. Had no troubles before then. Last thing I installed before having trouble was a demo of SMS Folder Manager (maybe a coincidence though?)
With regards to storage, I've got 3MB free on my fone & 2MB free on my 64MB MS.
Any help would be appreciated, wanna back-up incase something goes wrong (touch wood!)
I've just checked the folder where I save the backups (.ecs file) to and there is an .ecs file for each time the backup has 'supposedly' failed! Should I still be worrying, short of restoring one of these 'backups', I'm not sure what to do!
