I don't have a problem with people speaking another language than me, but wouldn't it be better if the forum had a strait english line?

it's a bit annoying when 7 of 10 replies to a topic is in a unknown language.

or?

I agree 100%! It's soooo anoying when some people replies in their own language! I have to admit that I have done that myself before, but I really try to keep it in English

Yeah, that's true. We should try to be more considerate of other people who don't share our own language...maybe the message we post would have the answer to their question, right?

I guess using own languages can be used more for private messages if they're really necessary...

When I answer in a different language, I translate my answer in English... I would only answer in another language if I was asked in that language... It doesn't really bother me if people write what it's about...

Hi John...

It's not the "From Greece"-topic... I think there is a topic called "MMS-update in Holland" and it starts in English... But after some posts they are writing in Dutch... Very annoying... There is also a topic called something like "MMS-software released in Sweden" or something like that, and they all write in English.

I think it's no bad intentions behind when you suddently start to write in your own language, but maybe we all should be more aware when we reply and make topics? This is an international forum, and English should be the # 1 language. The "From Greece"-topic is ok, because it explains very clearly that the non-Greece-members shouldn't try to read that...

Agreed, a thread that starts with english should end with english.

I can't handle reading through half the thread and then trying to figure out the other half which is in another freakin language.

Johanch---> But as you see my friend, I translated what they were saying and told them not to speak Dutch anymore!

Don't be angry at them, they're Dutch

I don't know whether to feel lucky or not that english is my native language. Sure, english has become the international language of commerce, but has this come at the cost of cultural and economic imperialism?

Whatever the case, I try not to take it for granted, even though I too am frustrated at times when a topic is posted in a foreign tongue.
