> Activation rejected?

My P800 is connected to my pc via serial bluetooth connection. So my pc will act as a gateway because it has internet connection. I can browse using opera and connect to tipic but when I check my pop3 accounts.. it says " activation rejected "...any ideas?

I having the same problems when I upgraded to r2d. I can't read my email using my computer internet connection anymore. I am getting the same error message ! HELP !!!

Same problem for me. After upgrading to R2D.
It looks like Opera works fine but doing "get and send" for POP3 mail just gives "Activation Rejected".
The internet accounts, WAP accounts and messaging accounts look to be set up just as before the upgrade, and the POP3 mail works fine using Orange GPRS...
...just not using a serial connection through the PC.
This is bad. Has anyone found a solution to this?

This definitely started happening for me when I upgraded to R2D and is a major step backwards for me!

i got that too the first time i setup my P800.... try configuring your pop3, outbox and check the box that says "Use SMTP Authentication" then check the box "Use Inbox login details" save it then you're good to go..
