I know this is probably a stupid question, but do Ericsson Chatboards still exist, and can you use them with the T300? It would make texting quicker....

SE's website does not show the T300 to be compatible with the cha-10 chatboard. but that doesn't mean it still won't work. find someone who has one and try to use it.

I have the CHA-10 and it works fine with my T300. Although there's a lot of lag when typing compared to when using it on the T68i (R7A).

In England sim cards are available lots of places Carphone Warehouse is probably easiest. They cost between 10-20pound and come with varying amounts of call time. I would check your email question in that forum, your phone will keep the setting i think but can't guarantee it will work. Feel free to email of any questions about UK networks, cost, services etc.

What FriC said and they're cheap, too. I think it cost me a whole $9 USD (not including shipping) for one. To be honest, the lag with the T300 is enough that I only really use it for entering new contacts or wap addresses and use the keypad with T9 turned on for everything else.
