I remember coming down from the bus holding my T68 when someone pushed me from behind and I dropped my T68 ... My baby bounced down the steps of the bus ... flew away from the steps landed on the kerb ... finally rolled on the concrete floor ... my heart crashed on the two months old phone ... pick up and check the phone ... found there were 8 bruises to the phone (deep scratches, the batt rubber was scraped off on one edge) ... to my amazement the phone still works !!! Never even shut off from the fall, batt still intact with the phone ... still works till now. In my opinion, Ericsson makes durable phones ... not sure bout though.

P.S Anyone knows if the front casing (grey/gold), the middle part (white) and the rubber part behind (the rubber part with the Ericsson logo) can be changed ? I seriously need to know ...

I think so but you better go to a SE Service Center and ask them to do the job!

Dropped mine once, still looks new though

But the T68i really has an ugly backside, the rubber one the T68 has is nice.

The person who pushed u was too much...

I guess u could always send it to SE to see how much it would cost to fix it... The batt rubber prob can't be fixed but I guess the phoone cover should be replaceable..

just dun try it on your own.. esp since its prob still on warranty..

Well, I guess this is what happens from time to time..so if your phone is for using and not for display only..no worries..it shows you got your T68 for a while and it still works perfectly...and soon with a new sw...

Cheers..and keep testing the hardware..
