> Orange P800 R2D Upgrade

Hey!
I live in the UK and am currently on the Orange network. I've heard that it is not currently possible to upgrade to R2D on Orange. I even went into CPW in Guildford and they even said that they cannot do it! Firstly, has anyone upgraded their Orange P800? Does it run as usual with the extra features (i.e. Orange startup mp4 and other Orange stuff still there)? Also, can anyone preferably post some screenshots of the new upgrade?

not sure tbh.. i know there were a lot of problems with SW upgrdes on the T68 with Orange as they wouldn't allow it.. but that was a while back and i was hoping it wouldn't be the case with the P800..
Well i hope it's not as i have a P800 on Orange this time and can't be doing with any of that crap from them..
someone here will know though so hang on until someone who has upgraded posts
cant beleive it wil be tha case with the P800 as it is so SW based.

Hey guys well i have upgraded my p800 and its on orange i have had no problems what so ever, just make sure you back up all your stuff before you go and upgrade as the whole phone will be wiped clean then as soon as its upgraded just restore it.......
If you want some pics i can email them to you no problem if you a bit worried about the upgrade...

u can get it upgraded on Orange, but not from CPW, u have to use an official SE SC, upgrading at CPW voids ur warranty anyway

it dont void anything i had a huge argument with the cpw and ornage coz orange said i could upgrade and cpw said no what it is is that orange phones can be upgraded but the cpw cant do it due to diffrent software which se havent relesed that y the cpw cant do it yet but you can send your phone away to se and get a referenc number and if you have insuren with the cpw you can get a stand by phone its nothing to do with voiding anything
